Penangke Cultural Consultants work with organisations to assess cultural competence needs by identifying the existing Aboriginal cultural knowledge strengths in your organisation that can be built upon. Our team has extensive community and cultural consultation experience that we invest when facilitating and developing your organisation’s cultural learning journey and pathway.

One-day Cultural Induction Workshop

Are you new to Alice Springs and want to learn about Central Australian Aboriginal culture and community? This is the training workshop for you. Topics covered:

 

• Genesis of Aboriginal Culture

• Introduction to Central Australian Aboriginal culture

• Central Australian history

• What does culture look like today

Organisations can choose one or more Penangke workshops to be delivered on-site to their staff. Alternatively, a customised program can be developed according to organisational requirements.

Friday Night Learn & Yarn

Community campfire events held on a Friday evening to cater for shift-workers.  One hour of education from a guest speaker, and an hour's opportunity for questions and conversation.
