Danielle Woods

Danielle is an Anmatyerr, Adnyamathanha, and Warlpiri woman from Central Australia, dedicated to the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

With six years of research experience at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (CAAC), Danielle led the Mayi Kuwayu Study, the largest national study of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, health, and wellbeing.

Danielle has served as a cultural advisor with Relationships Australia, an Aboriginal Liaison Officer at the Alice Springs Correctional Facility, and a Development Officer/Mentor with Role Models Australia. She also delivered sports activities with the NPY Women’s Council and worked as a Career Development Officer with the Northern Territory Government, assisting remote communities with job opportunities and training.

In her spare time, Danielle is a sports commentator on CAAMA Radio, sharing her passion for all things footy with the wider community.
